Between 2022 and 2023 we recorded oral histories with members of the club with the help of a grant from Historic England Everyday Heritage Grant. We called these Mildmay Stories. As the club becomes better known, more and more people are getting in touch to share their experiences of the club, whether that’s as a member, a relative of a member, or as someone who once performed at the club. Their stories offer an incredible insight into the history of the club, so we are working to document and share these stories, the first of which are below.
