The Mildmay Club is a 120-year-old, Grade 2 listed building.
From members who served in the Great War to those who helped run a food bank during the pandemic, we have a long history serving the community.
For the club to serve the community for another century, urgent repairs are needed including major renovation work to the roof.
We’ve established a strong income stream from regular entertainments and filming contracts, but the Covid-19 lockdown has hit us hard.
It’s for this reason that we are now asking for donations to help safeguard the future of the club.
Any sum, large or small, will help make a difference.

The Mildmay Club story
Our aim is to continue to be a meeting place for the local community, where people can come and enjoy a drink with friends and take part in the club’s many entertainments and activities.
The members’ bar is the heart of our club, and we also have two large entertainment halls upstairs, used (Covid-permitting) for music, dance, bingo and comedy nights. They’re also available for wedding and party hire.
We’re also extraordinarily lucky to have a fabulous snooker hall in the basement with nine full-size tables kept in immaculate conditions for members to play on.
It is our intention to secure the Mildmay club’s future for the next generation of working men and women.
